]]> http://womenofworth.org/countdown-to-conference/2234/feed/ 0 New Year’s Resolutionshttp://womenofworth.org/new-years-resolutions/2231/ http://womenofworth.org/new-years-resolutions/2231/#comments Sun, 01 Jan 2012 02:31:58 +0000 Bonnie http://womenofworth.org/?p=2231 How many times have we made resolutions and not even made it through the first week of the new year?  Recently I saw a picture of myself that I had not seen in years.  I was shocked at how trim and fit I looked.  Now before you think that I am all into me, let me share this with you.  All my life I felt like I was over weight.  My mom and sister were 15 pounds smaller than me.  Imagine my surprise when I saw this picture and realized what I had missed.  Here I am many years later seeing what I should have seen and missed.  I could have enjoyed who I was, but I missed it.

Until we are healed from within we will never see what God has for us.  We can make resolution on top of resolution and never make it to first base.  I pray that any and every lie that the enemy has spoken to us will be revealed in God’s light and love and we will be made whole.  Whole people keep New Year’s Resolutions.
